This recall involves the fondue fuel paste, Swiss Fire Gel, sold in 500mL and 1L bottles with a yellow cap.Health Canada advised Canadians on October 9, 2019 of serious fire and burn risks that are associated with the use of portable products that use certain containers of pourable alcohol-based fuels that are not equipped with a flame arrestor.Swiss Fire Gel fondue fuel pasteThe affected products were distributed from July 2017 to September 2020.

Consumers should immediately stop using the products and safely dispose of them in accordance with local municipal hazardous waste requirements.
