Issue

On certain ATVs, heat from the exhaust pipe can cause the body panels to overheat. As a result, the plastic panels near the operator's thigh could melt.

Safety Risk

Heat from the exhaust pipe and melted body panels could increase the risk of a burn injury.

Corrective Action

The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to have a heatshield installed between the exhaust pipe and the plastic body panels.
