This recall involves Continuum's Lenox-branded 2.5 Quart Whistling Stainless Steel Tea Kettle with a three layered bottom. The tea kettles were sold in a variety of colours, including blue, red, silver, and gold.The tea kettles can expel hot water during use, posing a burn hazard to consumers.The affected products were sold from  August 2017 to December 2018.Lenox 2.5 Quart Tea Kettles

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected tea kettles and contact Continuum for a full refund if proof of purchase is available.   If not, consumers will be entitled to a refund of $29.99 USD. For more information, consumers may contact the company’s customer service by telephone tole free at 1-800-669-6385 between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm ET Monday through Friday or online at www.gocontinuum.com and click on Recall Information. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products that pose a danger to human health or safety from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents or concerns related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
