The company reported that 16,188 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.The handle on the kettle can loosen and separate from the body causing hot contents to spill, posing a burn hazard.President's Choice® Cordless Glass Electric KettleThe affected products were sold from January 2018 to July 2020. 

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return the product to any President's Choice® store for a full refund if proof of purchase is available.
